Each Aero Precision AR-15 Upper Bundle comes with Aero's mil-spec, flattop, M4-type upper receiver, with the forward assist and ejection port cover already installed. It has laser-engraved T-marks on the Picatinny rail, and M4 feed cuts inside help ensure reliable feeding of rounds into the chamber. It's compatible with any mil-spec and many billet AR-15 lower receivers.
The 16" Government Profile barrel is by Ballistic Advantage - folks known for producing high-quality barrels that stand up to hard use AND don't cost an arm and a leg. You have the choice of a barrel with the gas port drilled for a standard CARBINE-length gas tube or for a MID-LENGTH gas tube, which helps produce a smoother, gentler cycling, more reliable-feeding rifle while retaining the same-size compact M4 carbine package.

Whichever barrel you choose, you'll surround it with Aero Precision's Atlas R-One M-LOK® Handguard. It has a full-length Picatinny rail on top, multiple rows of M-LOK® slots, and QD sling swivel sockets at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions - for outstanding versatility in mounting accessories exactly where you need them. And the R-One is super easy to install with the Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS), which employs two locking nuts that provide even clamping pressure around the included barrel nut. The result is a rock-solid, low-profile, no-wobble, free-floating handguard.
