#271 HIGH STRENGTH RED THREADLOCKER
The LOCTITE® High Strength Red 271 Threadlocker is a premium adhesive designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. This high-strength threadlocker cures anaerobically—activating in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces—to form a durable bond that prevents loosening due to vibration, shock, and thermal expansion. Application Guidelines:

Disassembly:
Due to its high strength, disassembly of parts bonded with LOCTITE® 271 may require localized heating to approximately 500°F (260°C). Once heated, disassemble while the adhesive is hot.
